As the bow slows, everything points down — the arrow is completely vertical.
That’s where the articulation lives.
Adding articulation to a fast bow is two opposing ideas at once.
So reduce the bow, and it will grab the string easier.
There is no real learning without feeling what it is like to do it right.
Once the body has absorbed the movement — the bounce, the feedback — now it is learning. The rest is practice.

The size of the sound, the character: endless variety. The quality is not negotiable.
Especially at the very end, where we tend to forget to play.

There is no account. Nothing is sent to reh·cord — everything happens on the device. Sync is your own iCloud, or nothing at all.

The usual questions
Does it record the music, or only the talking?
The whole lesson. reh·cord keeps every minute, playing included, and writes down what was said. On the page, each stretch of playing has a line of its own, so you can tap it and hear it again.
What kind of lessons is it for?
Individual singing and instrument lessons — piano, violin, guitar, brass, woodwind — and just as well a masterclass, a coaching or your own rehearsal. More on recording music lessons.
Is it private?
Yes. The recording, the transcript and the summaries are all made on your device. There is no account, and nothing is sent to reh·cord. Sync is your own iCloud, or nothing at all.
Does it need an internet connection?
No. The transcribing happens on the device itself, so a lesson in a practice room with no signal is written down just the same.
Which languages does it understand?
Choose your lessons’ language in the app. If one recording was held in another language, transcribe it again in that one.
Can I add recordings I already have?
Yes. Import an audio recording, or a video of a lesson, and reh·cord writes it down like one of its own.
Do I need Apple Intelligence?
Only for the summaries. Recording, transcripts, markers, notebooks and search all work without it.
